Mercedes Benz S350 CDI
After the successful petrol version launch of S350 CDI its diesel avatar is here in India. In Pune the car is priced at Rs. 1.07 crore and it would be assembled fully in the country. The engine is going to be of 3.0-litre, that is going to make 258PS/620 NM. The primary difference between the imported S500 would be the lack of infrared camera, key start, bumper that is basic and simpler grille.
Limited Edition Renault Duster0
After few initial unsuccessful launches Renault has finally able to penetrate into Indian automobile market where the company was able to sell one lakh Duster in less than 2 years. In order to celebrate its success a new limited edition variant is launched which is priced at Rs. 9.99 lakh. Some of the add-ons would be a USB compatible music system with AUX, Steering mounted controls.
Maruti Celerio Green
Celerio is already a popular name in India and to further boost its sales, Maruti has launched a CNG variant for the car. The car is going to be priced at Rs. 4.92 lakh which will be Rs. 70,000 more that its petrol only variant. The CNG variant claims to have a mileage of 31.8km/l and is fitted with 1.0 litre KNext engine that makes 58PS of power. In order to adjust the added weight of the CNG, the rear suspension is tweaked.
Mahindra XUV500 Sportz
Limited edition sportz variant for hugely popular Mahindra XUV500 is here. The bad news is that there are only 1000 units available for the market. The car would be priced at Rs. 35 to 40,000 more that would come to about Rs. 13.68 lakh ex-Mumbai. The additions might not be that impressive. For the extra money you pay you get a reverse camera, fog lamps and sporty red trim.
Toyota Corolla Altis
The car which is very popular with premium taxis gets a big facelift. The new Toyota Corolla Altis is going to be priced at Rs. 11.99 to 16.89 lakh, ex-Delhi. There is a big change in design which is very youthful, Bluetooth phone control, revamped interiors, LED tail and head lamps, steering wheel that has 3 spokes. There is an increase of leg room for rear passengers as the wheelbase is extended by 100mm. There is however no change in the engine.
Renault Scala Travelogue Edition
The all new Scala Travelogue Edition is launched and is priced at Rs. 8.79 lakh ex-Mumbai. Some of the add-ons are great which might be a reason why you should go for this edition. For an extra Rs. 50,000 you could get an integrated navigation system, Bluetooth connectivity, extended warranty for 2 years, 4 years free roadside assistance, rear subshade. The car is going to be available in petrol, diesel and automatic petrol variant.
