The Volvo XC90 is a luxury SUV manufactured by Swedish automaker Volvo Cars. The car was first introduced at North American International Auto Show in 2002. The car used the Volvo P2 platform from its sibling Volvo S80. The car’s manufacturing was moved to china in 2014 from Torslandaverken, and the car was renamed Volvo XC90 Classic. The second generation of the vehicle was introduced at the end of 2014 based on the SPA platform. In 2022, a new electric-only EX90 was introduced.

The length of the car is just under 5 meters (4953 mm). It looks big from the outside but is very comfortable and elegant from the inside. The dashboard is minimalist and has a class of its own. Every interior piece has a gently calming effect and a feel-good factor. The touchscreen is fundamental, which might not go well with buyers spending one crore on the car. The seats are comfortable, especially the front seats. However, the middle seat is a bit out regarding comfort and luxury.
The car is powered by a 1969 cc, B6 AWD mild hybrid, Four-cylinder supercharged, and turbocharged engine. The 2.0-liter diesel engine is strong but lacks punch in V6 engines.
XC90 B6 is fitted with a Four-cylinder turbocharged engine from large Volvo cars. The 300hp, 1,969cc engine gives out impressive power (220 kW) and torque (420 Nm). The rival recent Audi Q7, though, has a bigger V6 petrol engine that gives 340 hp, and the Mercedes Benz GLE has 367 hp. However, by turbocharging, supercharging coupled with a hybrid e-motor, Volvo can boost the power of the XC90 and bring it in line with its rivals with just a 2.0 four-cylinder engine.
The car can go from 0-100kph in under 6.7 sec, which is impressive.
