Powered by a 149cc, 4-stroke air-cooled single-cylinder engine, Suzuki GS150R generates a peak power of 13.8bhp at 8500 rpm. The maximum torque production of the bike is 13.4 Nm, accessible at 6000 rpm. Its refined engine mated to a 6-speed gearbox makes it unique and offers better cruising performance on the highway. Suzuki GS150R is the first 150cc bike in India that features a six-speed manual gearbox – one gear down and five gears up-shift pattern. As an ideal bike for city commuters, it offers an excellent 50-55 kmpl mileage.
Design & Style
This dynamic bike is available in three electric colors including Candy Antares Red, Pearl Mirage White and Glass Sparkle Black. It features revised cowl as well as visor with new graphics which makes bike look aggressive with its headlight. The air-intakes on both side of GS150R’s headlight make it look aerodynamics. Acceleration and Performance
The six-speed gearbox of Suzuki GSR150R helps you keep moving quick and fast. Despite having a poor power to weight ratio, it does 0-60km per hour in less than 6 seconds. Thanks to bike’s sixth gear as the bike can cross the speed mark of 120km per hour. Overtaking is way easy with this model on highway; however, you may face difficulty in city traffic. Its refined engine is designed to fulfill the conflicting demands of fuel efficiency and acceleration.
Ride and Handling
Despite of being a heavy bike, Suzuki GSR150R’s high speed stability is very impressive due to its wheelbase of 1335mm. I am a proud owner of gs150r .the style, kerb weight and the stability makes it a perfect choice and much comfortable bike in this segment with great gas filled suspension give royal comfort in harsh roads. The best in class engine and 6 speed gearbox and the gear shift indicator led makes all long rides happy and peaceful. .. overall a awesome and royal biking experience.
You have mentioned its top speed as 106 kmph. I own one and it hits 115 kmph easily. I think it will hit more than 120 with ease
