Yamaha launched YBR110 to tap into the rural market in the hinterlands of India. Yamaha has long had this potential viable and huge market demography untapped as it did not have any particular vehicle in this category. But with the launch of Yamaha YBR110, Yamaha does enter the hitherto untapped market with quite an elan. The bike is aimed at the middle class customer which is a huge consumer pool especially in the developing country like India.
It comes equipped with a potent 106 cc 4 stroke 2 valve SOHC engine. The engine can deliver a good 7.5 bhp of maximum power at 7500 rpm. The maximum torque generated by the engine is 7.8 Nm at 6000 rpm. It comes with a 4 speed gear system which helps a great deal in getting the great riding experience. It is also equipped with a multiple wet type clutch system. On the dash you would find the trustworthy analogue speedometer and RPM meter. It is available in multiple color options which are apt for a bike in the rural terrain. Keeping in mind the rural approach, Yamaha YBR110 comes with a fuel tank which is able to store 13 liters of fuel which can be a boon in the rural area where access to fuel refilling stations may be a concern.
Despite its rural approach the bike does a great job when it comes to the looks. The looks of the bike would rival the best in the segment. The headlight is a bright and striking one which can dazzle the onlookers easily. The designing cues that the bike has in place are able to rival the best of the best of the segment.
